About Us
Founded in 2021, Peak Drift Brewing Company is an innovative craft beverage company based in Columbia, South Carolina. Capturing life’s peak experiences, Peak Drift features high-quality craft beers, hard seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages inspired by the landscapes of the Southeast region.
Historic Brewing Facility
At Peak Drift, we are proud to call our production facility at 3452 North Main St. our home. Officially opened in January 2023, our 25,000 square foot brewery resides in a historic building that dates back to the 1940s. Originally built in 1946-47, this site served as the cornerstone of local industry for decades, housing Stone Manufacturing, a prominent garment factory that contributed significantly to the community.
Stone Manufacturing, known for producing the renowned Umbro clothing line, was once one of the world’s most successful apparel companies. In recognition of its rich history, our building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
The architectural integrity of our facility, featuring concrete block and washed brick veneer with a striking barrel roof, tells the story of a small, local enterprise that grew into an international success. At Peak Drift, we are dedicated to preserving this legacy while crafting exceptional brews that celebrate our community and the artistry of brewing.
Custom Can Printing
Did you know that Peak Drift offers the innovative “Peak Press,” which enables our brewery to print graphics directly onto our cans? This printing program brings a range of exciting benefits. For starters, we can print, fill, and package our beverages all in one location, streamlining our operations.
Additionally, our printing method is environmentally friendly, eliminating the need for traditional labels or shrink-wraps and making our cans 100% recyclable. This capability also allows us to accommodate smaller print orders, which is perfect for customers who may not have the budget for larger manufacturing runs.
Whether for commemorative events like weddings and festivals or for smaller gatherings, we specialize in fulfilling orders with a personalized touch that enhances any occasion. Additionally, we proudly contract can with over 35 breweries across the state, bringing their vision to life.
